Hi! My name is Cindy Williams. I live in DuQuoin; a small town located in Southern Illinois. I have been in the model horse hobby since 2002. It all started when I decided to sell my childhood collection of Breyer horses on Ebay. They were all well loved and played with daily! After signing up on Ebay and doing a little looking around, I noticed that people were customizing model horses. That really caught my attention, and the obsession began! It has been a long road to where I am now and I have enjoyed every minute of it! Originally I used all sorts of mediums and techniques but my favorite method is the acrylic paint applied with an airbrush and the details and highlights in soft pastels. All of my experience has been self taught and I still to this day learn new techniques to make the models look as realistic as possible. My work is Live Show quality and brings home many NAN cards and Championships for their owners. While I don’t show my models

personally, I rely on my buyers to get my models in the show ring. Many of my horses receive Top Tens, Reserve Champion, and Champion status at the North American Nationals (NAN). I strive to create the most realistic model horse possible and it has been showing in the Shadowbrook wins in shows around the world.

I just got my first horse this past summer (2008). I have always wanted a Miniature horse and my daughter and I just acquired the beginning of a new addiction! His name is “Spirit” and he is a sweety! We will be adding a new mini soon so Spirit will have a friend.

I am hoping that my daughter Caitlyn will follow in my footsteps in the Model Horse hobby, so keep your eyes peeled for a model or two by her. She is 8 yrs old now and is learning to paint with pastels. I think she is getting just as addicted to the models as I am!
